Eligibility Criteria

  • The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed Post-SSC or Post-HSC Diploma Course in Engineering/Technology with minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% marks in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only.) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from an AICTE approved Institution with English as the medium of instruction at Diploma level.

OR

  • The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC /Association of Indian Universities recognized University with minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% marks in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only.) and passed XII standard examination with Mathematics as the subject and with English as the medium of instruction at B.Sc. level.

Assignment of Merit Number

General Merit List of all Diploma Candidates Inter-se-Merit shall be determined on the basis of Marks obtained at the Final Year or Final Semester / Semesters of Diploma Examination on the basis of which the Diploma has been awarded by the respective examining authority.

Relative Merit in Case of a Tie

In case of Candidates securing equal number of marks, their relative inter se merit shall be determined in the following order:

  1. A Candidate passing the SSC (Std. X) Examination with higher percentage of aggregate marks.
  2. A Candidate passing the SSC (Std. X) Examination with higher marks in Mathematics.
  3. A Candidate passing the SSC (Std. X) Examination with higher marks in Science.
  4. An older Candidate shall be preferred over a younger Candidate.

The merit list shall be published as per schedule showing the State Level General Merit number, Category Merit Number.
